H. Hudson Homes builds cool houses — and buyers are lining up to buy them

George Hale, founder of the infill residential real estate developer H. Hudson Homes, has found a niche building sleek homes that enhance existing neighborhoods.
Modern design is all the rage, whether it’s the latest i-gadget from Apple or sleek do-it-yourself furniture from IKEA.
Portland homebuilder George Hale is bringing that same sense of modern cool to Portland neighborhoods through his infill residential development company H. Hudson Homes.
“All of their stuff is highly designed, and people are identifying with that today,” Hale said of Apple and IKEA. “Our ideas and designs are shifting more towards high design, especially in urban areas.
